Biography

2019 League of Women Voters' Guide

Question 1: What are the one or two most critical issues in your precinct and/or the Town and how would you address them?
Question 2: Biographical data.

1. As a single parent I have to stress the biggest challenge that I see and that resonates in my community, in general, is the lack of affordable housing and services for lower income families. Brookline should commit fully to affordable/subsidized and market value housing. I know we can and we should do better. Racial Equity and Social Justice, appropriately funded our schools, diversity in our government, and the intense construction are all vitally important issues in Precinct 4. I believe my community needs a stronger voice and presence in the decisions that are made in Brookline; I hope to be one of those voices.
2. My son attended Lawrence School and BHS. We have lived in subsidized housing in Brookline for 12 years. I work as a Paraprofessional in Brookline. I am on the BEU Executive Board and a Paraprofessional Negotiator on our Negotiation Team. I am originally from London, England.
