Question 1: What are the one or two most critical issues in your precinct and/or the Town and how would you address them? Question 2: Biographical data. |
1. Our public schools thrive because of civic belief in their importance. The overcrowding in our schools that impairs the education of children and the great work of the Brookline teachers can be resolved by passing the debt exclution - Question 1. I am also committed to helping the Town improve its marijuana zoning and bylaws to learn from other municipalities that have gone ahead of us. I support action in Town Meeting to protect residentially dense, small districts from the unintended consequences of recreational marijuana stores. 2. I'm a professor of Accounting at BU and have resided in the St. Mary's neighborhood with my husband and family for 15-years. My two children graduated from Brookline Public Schools. I am originally from Portugal and I love our welcoming, culturally diverse, and inclusive community. I care deeply about the well-being, safety and education of all children. www.OpenP1C.org |
