Question 1: What are the one or two most critical issues in your precinct and/or the Town and how would you address them? Question 2: Biographical data. |
1. As urban towns continue to become denser, the need for optimizing space for residences and schools needs to be balanced with green space to meet our green goals for 2050. We also need to be sure we are creating open space that is complimentary to parks and play areas for our children, aging population and pets. This will be vital as we look into the best way to optimize potential opportunities for acquisitions (eg Newbury College) and smart growth. Cost of living in Brookline by making sure we are efficient with resources and potentially growing our commercial tax base to help with balancing property tax. We have a variety of residents in our town and it will be vital to make sure we are addressing any disparities that are occurring. 2. 12 year Precinct 1 resident, pharmacist/bicyclist/Egyptian-American, Green Caucus member. Lead proponent for flavored tobacco sale ban. |
