Biography

2019 League of Women Voters' Guide

Question 1: What are the one or two most critical issues in your precinct and/or the Town and how would you address them?
Question 2: Biographical data.

1. The two most critical issues for Precinct 16 are continued growth of Hancock Village and the need for a ninth school in South Brookline. Having lived for a year in Hancock Village, I know what a vibrant and diverse neighborhood it is and how the many families living there contribute to our wider community. That being said, any expansion of Hancock Village should be reasonable and smart. As a parent, I know how congested our schools already are. I support the siting of a ninth school at Baldwin, and I endorse the override to fund that.

2. Five-year Brookline resident. Son of a public school teacher. Graduate of public schools. My husband and I have two boys in the Brookline Public Schools. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home dad in 2017, I was an in-house attorney at State Street Bank. B.A. Williams College, J.D. Boston College Law School.
