Biography

2019 League of Women Voters' Guide

Question 1: What are the one or two most critical issues in your precinct and/or the Town and how would you address them?
Question 2: Biographical data.

1. My family moved to Brookline in 2011, and we simply love living here. As an active Pierce parent, I am particularly interested in town-wide strategies to address school overcrowding. We need to expand capacity without unduly disrupting classrooms or neighborhoods, or otherwise sacrificing educational quality. I urge P7 voters to actively represent our neighborhood in major developments on the horizon: 127-131 Harvard private pre-school, Stop & Shop site, and the 209 Harvard medical building.

2. I work at a Brookline-based nonprofit which raises funds to invest in cutting-edge academics at our public high school. I served as Treasurer of the Pierce PTO. I have worked in the sectors of affordable housing, social services, and disability rights; and I value the Town's leadership on these issues. It is a privilege to serve on Town Meeting and invest time in this community that has so warmly welcomed my family.
