Children: Maintain school quality: Effective leadership; motivated, caring teachers; maximized opportunity to achieve for every child; diversity including METCO; sufficient, well maintained buildings; and class size equity across the district. Abundant pre-school, daycare, after-school programs, arts, music, sports, and youth activities. Override: YES on debt exclusion and operational overrides. Climate: Improve walkability, bicycle accommodation, and public transportation. Promote recycling, resource conservation, parks, and open space. Preserve vibrant Coolidge Corner and Washington Square businesses. Encourage renewable energy, resilience, adaptation, and sustainability. Families and Elderly: Encourage aging in place and growing need for affordable housing. Address needs for public safety, access to libraries, recreation, and transportation. 2. Member: Advisory Committee and AC School sub-committee, Brookline Community Aging Network; Livable Community Advocacy Committee; Climate Action Brookline, Select Board Climate Action Committee and Brookline Green Electricity and Electric Vehicle subcommittees.
