Biography

2018 League of Women Voters' Guide

Question 1: What town wide issue affects your precinct the most and how would you address it?
Question 2: Biographical data.

1. Current Town and School structural deficits impact us all. If not addressed soon, they'll severely diminish the quality of our municipal services and schools, thus lowering our neighborhood quality of life and our property values. (Property taxes represent 70% of Town revenues, which lag behind expenditures growth.) We cannot afford to continue ignoring the large, ongoing school enrollment increases or deferring maintenance on our infrastructure. I will continue monitoring Town/School budgetary issues for fiscal prudence and transparency, seriously consider funding through the Operational Override and High School Debt Exclusion proposals and vote for tax relief for low-income seniors and others.

2. B.H.S, B.U., Phi Beta Kappa; 25+ year Town Meeting and Advisory Committee Member (Schools Subcommittee); Director Brookline League of Women Voters (past President) and Fisher Hill Association; Previously, Brookline Teacher, Deputy Probation Officer, F.H.Reservoir Re-Use Comm., LWVMA legislative lobbyist, Runkle PTA Planning Chair.
